The 2021 Atlanta Open hosted by the Atlanta Figure Skating Club will be held at The Cooler Family Skate Center on June 16- 19, 2021. The event will draw nearly 400 skaters from all over the U.S. to compete in multiple figure skating events including Solo Dance, Pairs Skating, Couples Ice Dance and Singles in well balanced and Excel levels starting from Beginner all the way up to Senior and Adult levels.

The Georgia Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus (GACVB) honored Visit Roswell, Awesome Alpharetta and Visit Sandy Springs with a Travelblazer Award for their collaboration to create the Topside Tap Trail, a craft brewery trail comprised of seven breweries located in the cities of Roswell, Alpharetta and Sandy Springs, Ga. The award was announced at the GACVB Annual Conference Luncheon held on May 18, 2021 in Savannah, Ga.
USA Wrestling Olympic Team To Train In Alpharetta, May 14 – 24

The nation’s top wrestlers are headed to Alpharetta, Ga. to train at the USA Wrestling National Team Training Camp at The Cooler, May 14 – 24. The event will be a key preparation camp for both the 2021 Pan American Championships in Guatemala in May, as well as the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan in August. This will be the first time that the complete wrestling team will train together prior to heading to Tokyo to compete at the Olympic Games.

The destination marketing organizations behind Visit Roswell, Awesome Alpharetta and Visit Sandy Springs announced their partnership today to launch the Topside Tap Trail. This brewery trail is comprised of seven branded breweries in metro Atlanta’s “topside”, located in the cities of Roswell, Alpharetta and Sandy Springs, Ga. The trail was created to ensure North Fulton county’s craft beer culture along the GA400 corridor gets the acclaimed recognition it deserves along with attracting visitors interested in craft beer to each city.
