Media Visit Guidelines

The Alpharetta CVB hosts press trips for qualified media on assignment only. The Alpharetta CVB will assist journalists, freelancers and bloggers but are not always able to accommodate spouses, children or other additional guests. Having only a limited number of press trips allotted per year, requests to visit are handled on a case-by-case basis. The Alpharetta CVB does not host media for leisure or holiday travel. Please review the guidelines listed below, and reach out to Audra Winborne, PR Manager, at audra@awesomealpharetta.com if you accept the guidelines and wish to be considered for a press trip to Alpharetta.

1. Notice: Journalists must provide the Alpharetta CVB with at least two business weeks’ notice before their arrival unless special circumstances arise- to be approved by the CVB.
   
   
2. Requested Information: When requesting a press trip to Awesome Alpharetta, you will be asked to provide your name, name of publication, arrival date, length of visit, departure date, social media follower reach and story angle. Please note that any publications must have a minimum circulation of 10,000 unless otherwise approved by the Alpharetta CVB.
   
   
3. Expenses: At the discretion of the Alpharetta CVB, assistance may be provided in securing complimentary or reduced lodging, some meals and access to attractions for writers on assignment when available.
   
   
4. Transportation: Writers are responsible for their own transportation.
