Here are a few of the events we’re most stoked about for Labor Day Weekend 2021:

Rock Out with My Morning Jacket at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre

American Songwriter Magazine listed My Morning Jacket as one of their “20 Must-See Tours In 2021”. Good thing you can catch their mesmerizing show in Alpharetta at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre on Friday, September 3! The band’s sound, rooted in rock and country, is often experimental and psychedelic. The group amassed a following beginning in the 2000’s in part due to their live performances so you are assured an awesome show! Singer-songwriter Brittany Howard is also on the ticket and will be kicking off the night with songs from her newly released album “Jaime Reimagined”. And there’s truly not a bad seat in the house at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre with its parklike setting with impeccably manicured greenery and state-of-the-art jumbo screens to ensure you never miss a single second of your favorite drum solo or guitar riff.

Musical Magic at Matilda’s Music Under the Pines

Step into an eclectic world of musical wonder and folksy appeal at Matilda’s Music Under the Pines for the Surrender Hill show on September 4 from 8 – 10 p.m. This soulful, countrified duo is a band of songwriters who create music inspired by their colorful and unusual backgrounds. You won’t want to miss the show! Insider Tip: At Matilda’s, you can arrive prior to the show to pick out a spot for the friends and family to sit. Bring blankets, tailgate chairs, coolers and picnic baskets to make the evening a platinum hit!

The exhibit is free and open to the public on Friday and Saturday of Labor Day Weekend.

Live Your Best Life at Avalon Nights Live

Head over to The Plaza at Avalon on Friday, September 3 from 6-8 p.m. for Avalon Nights Live, where you can jam to live music and dance the night away.
