Paw-sitively Perfect Pet Outings in AlpharettaIn Outdoor Adventures, Shopping
From Corgis to Catahoulas, energetic to easy-going, pure bred to pure cuteness, finding pet-friendly activities for the whole family is easy in Alpharetta. Our pups are more than just pets—they’re beloved family members and it’s always more fun when they can participate in outings. Luckily, there are many tail-wag-worthy ways to spend the day or weekend with our furry loved ones in tow!
Fetch Park Alpharetta
Fetch Park Alpharetta is one of the newest additions to Alpharetta’s extensive list of awesome attractions. Dog owners will appreciate Fetch’s membership structure that ensures all dogs in the play zone are up-to-date on their vaccinations (bring print or digital copies of your vet records for your first visit). While visiting, pups can enjoy extensive green space to run and play, cool off in troughs of fresh water in the splash zone, and interact with all types of dog breeds. Human visitors can “Unleash and Unwind” while playing along with their pet, enjoying a coffee or beer from the Bark bar, snapping pics with the fun murals painted throughout the park, or catching their favorite team playing on the big screen. If that isn’t fun enough, Fetch also has two fantastic sand volleyball courts where guests can play!
Big Creek Greenway
The Big Creek Greenway features 9 miles of dog approved pathways. With multiple access points throughout the city, it’s super easy to decide what route you’d like to take with your exercise partner! The 12-foot wide paths are great, whether you’d like to walk, run or skate alongside your pooch.
Heavenly Pet Spa
After a hard day of play, spruce up your dog’s glam game with a trip to Heavenly Pet Spa. Offering multiple package options, you can choose to get your pet a quick scrub-a-dub and get back to your plans, or you can choose a lengthier service including teeth cleaning, nail trimming, hair trimming and more. Snuggling with your pal will be so much more enjoyable when they’re so fresh and so clean!
Hit the Town
After you pamper your pet, take them to Orvis at Avalon, where you’ll find a collection of dog accessories and toys in their pet-friendly store! Let your pup pick out a squeaky duck toy or find their new favorite bed to bring back home! Head to High Country Outfitters for a new Yeti dog bowl, a Chaco collar, or a Ruffwear Dog Backpack to keep them stylin’. Reward yourself for a successful day of spoiling your fur baby by treating yourself to a cold brew at Currahee Brewing Company, where your pet can relax while you enjoy a drink.
With so much for you and Fido to do, why not stay the weekend? Plan a getaway at one of Alpharetta’s 30 modern and upscale hotels – many of which are pet-friendly! To search the Alpharetta hotels that are pet-friendly, look for the dog icon and then book your stay here.
