One Saturday each month, May through September

Look for artists at work creating masterpieces right before your eyes at this outdoor market under the trees that attracts art lovers and exhibitors from all over the Atlanta area. Combine this with the Alpharetta’s Saturday morning Farmers Market to create a fun filled weekend.

Youth Fishing Derby

Children cast their lines and cross their fingers! There’s nothing like feeling a sense of accomplishment. Prizes for longest fish and most fish caught. Bring fishing gear and bait. Free event but pre-registration required.


4th of July Celebration
July 4, 2018

Pack a picnic and celebrate our great nation with your family under the stars. Children’s activities, concerts and a brilliant display of fireworks at dusk! Come decked out in good ole’ red, white and blue!


Old Soldiers Day Parade
August 4, 2018

Alpharetta has been honoring war veterans for over 50 years! Visitors will enjoy a parade with floats, marching bands, military units, classic cars, clowns, music and candy! Free hot dogs, soft drinks and children’s activities at parade finish.


Touch a Truck
August 18, 2018

Spark your children’s curiosity! They can see, touch and explore a fire truck, dump truck, school bus, 18-wheeler, limo, police vehicles and more! This free event includes animal balloons, face painting and inflatables.


Mayor’s Corporate Challenge
August 23, 2018

The Mayor’s Corporate Challenge is supported by The Rotary Club of Alpharetta, the City of Alpharetta and Mayor David Belle Isle. The race will begin/end at the new city hall.


IronKids Triathlon
September 16, 2018

Swim, bike, run competition for ages 6-15 with an emphasis on fitness and fun. One of only 24 competitions nationwide and the largest kids triathlon in the country!

Wire & Wood Alpharetta Songwriters Festival
October 12-13, 2018

Music will flow through the streets as talented artists perform their own songs with soulful melodies, magnificent vocals and expressive lyrics while interacting with the audience. Listeners will learn the stories behind each song and may recognize some of the tunes that are played by their favorite musicians. Selected as one of the Top 20 Events in October 2015 by the Southeast Tourism Society!
