Deck the Halls and Lace Up Your Skates!
The Lighting of Avalon is here! Join Avalon November 22, 2026 from 2 – 7:30 PM for a day bursting with holiday magic and perfect for making memories together. We’re kicking things off in style with dazzling ice skating performances on Avalon on Ice, then it’s off to Activity Row from 2 – 5 PM for face painting, festive crafts, photo opportunities, and plenty of merry mischief the whole family can enjoy side by side.
Live entertainment will keep the stage — and the holiday spirit — hopping all day long, bringing neighbors and friends together in the spirit of the season. Then, as the sun dips down and and the lights begin to twinkle, gather the whole gang for the can’t-miss Tree Lighting, promptly at 7 PM, followed by a joyful performance from Bogey and the Viceroy to send the night off with a bang!

Avalon on Ice
2:00 p.m.
The day begins with magical performances on the center ice. Skaters and Ice Dancers of all skill levels put their talents on display. Even Santa likes to catch this show!
Activity Row
2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Bring the whole family and take part in face painting, festive crafts and merry mischief. Full of holiday spirit, the Activity Row is the perfect place for photos of the family and perhaps with Jolly Ol’ St. Nick.
Tree Lighting
7:00 p.m.
As the night sky takes over, Avalon’s greatest spectacle takes place, The Avalon Tree Lighting. Santa counts down to the lighting of the 40 foot tree. A vision that is sure to swell your heart to 4 times its normal size (with Joy, of course).
Bogey and The Viceroy take to the stage in the glow of the Tree for a rockin’ concert to finish the evening.
Parking Information
Guests may park in any of our free parking decks, valet at 3rd Street, or park across the street at Gwinnett Technical College, where we will have shuttles running to our property. Because parking will fill up quickly, we recommend carpooling or using a ride-share service to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.
