A Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event for 2018!

Taste of Alpharetta has become an annual tradition for festival goers, families and food connoisseurs. Mark your calendars to dine in Downtown Alpharetta at over 60 restaurants in one fun night. Sample delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts from the top chefs in town. Enjoy culinary demonstrations, activities for all ages and entertainment to please every palate. Admission is free, you may purchase food tickets on site at our ticket booths for $.50 each. Restaurants participating in the Taste of Alpharetta will not accept cash (tickets only). Restaurants charge $1-3 per food sample.

The Music Stage will have harmonic rock/folk/R&B bands. A separate Culinary Competition Stage will pair top area chefs against one another in five categories – Best Appetizer/Salad, Best Fast Casual, Best Fine Dining, Best Presentation and Best Dessert. Award winners are presented on the Main Stage at approximately 8:30 p.m. Vote for the People’s Choice Award at the Culinary Competition Stage prior to 7:00 p.m.

Parking

The Taste of Alpharetta is located in Historic Downtown across from Alpharetta City Hall at 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, GA 30009.

Free parking and shuttle system available. Arriving and leaving the event, shuttles will drop off and pick up by a Ticket Booth on the corner of Roswell Street approx. every 20 minutes from 5-10 pm. Please see the event map for more details.


Park and Walk (NO Shuttle Service):

Milton Center (86 School Drive at Independence High / Old Milton High School)

If you are traveling North on Highway 9 take a left onto Wills Road, then right onto Milton Ave (if you take a left the same road is called Mid Broadwell Road).  Milton Center will be on your left.

If you are traveling South on Highway 9, take a right onto Mayfield Road, then left onto Canton Street and right onto School Drive which takes you directly into the Milton Center parking lot.

City Hall Parking Deck (2 Park Plaza)

If you are traveling north on Highway 9, the parking deck will be on your right once you cross over Old Milton Parkway. If you are traveling south on Highway 9, take a left on Academy St., and then an immediate right into the parking deck entrance.


Park and Ride (Shuttle Service):

1- Wills Park at Wacky World (on Old Milton Parkway to the right of the Alpharetta City Pool)

2- Wills Park Equestrian Center (at 11915 Wills Road, Alpharetta, GA 30009)

Handicap Parking and Shuttle Service

Parking – Near 33 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009 behind the old gas station. Traveling north on Highway 9, it is just past All Fired Up on the left. The Handicap sign will be visible from street. From this parking lot there is level access directly onto the event site at Old Roswell Street near the Fun Zone.

Shuttles – All shuttle routes will have one handicap accessible buses rotating every other pick-up and/or drop-off (approx. every 20 minutes). If you would like to park with close and level access directly onto the event site, please use the reserved handicap parking lot at 33 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009 behind the old gas station.
