Whether he’s performing at international jazz festivals in Stockholm, Montreux, Bermuda and St. Lucia or closer to home in and around Atlanta, veteran saxophonist Reggie Hines always asks his audience the key question: “How many of you want to go on a musical journey?” Though while commanding the stage, the multi-talented songwriter and musician is clearly referring to the constant sense of groove he brings to his eclectic mix of salsa, hip-hop, jazz, trap, bebop, gospel, funk and even classical music, his words could also apply to his fascinating, multi-faceted career.
