Go for Gold with Great Events

Make “St. Paddy’s Day” into “St. Party’s Day” at Luck of Avalon on Friday, March 14 at 6:00 pm, bringing together live entertainment, delicious food, and festive fun. With a lively atmosphere perfect for all ages, the Luck of Avalon invites everyone to enjoy music from Will and The Exclamation, a traditional performance from Drake Irish Dance Alpharetta, a Pipes & Drums performance with The Atlanta Pipe Band, festive photo-op moments, and so much more! Grab your friends, wear your best green attire, and come celebrate the luck of the Irish!

Keep your golden weekend going at ShamRockin’ for a Cure on Saturday, March 15 from 6:30-11:00 pm with food, fun, and live music, while supporting a great cause. Held at Union Hill Park, this annual event raises money for Cystic Fibrosis research. Guests can enjoy an exciting mix of Irish-inspired food, green drinks, and vibrant entertainment while dancing to live music. Get ready to “Paddy” the night away!

Bites, Brews, and Basketball

If you have a hankering for hearty food and sips to pair with it, look no further than Alpharetta. Head to Salt Factory Pub, where you can savor Shepherd’s Pie made with braised lamb, pearl onions, corn, green peas, rosemary demi, and cheddar potato puree. For light bites with Irish inspiration, try Village Tavern’s Irish Kerrygold Pimento Cheese or the delicious Reuben Sandwich—an American invention touting two very important Irish staples—corned beef and cabbage!

Looking for Irish-inspired beverages to savor? Explore Irish whiskeys at Branch and Barrel, where you can enjoy a variety of offerings from Ireland. Sip on an Irish cider or a classic Guinness at Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar. Raise a toast with Erin Go Braugh, Jekyll Brewing’s Irish Coffee Porter that has the perfect hint of whiskey flavor to it.

It may seem like a strange combination, but if you’ve ever seen the Disney classic The Luck of the Irish, you know why we think March Madness should be part of your month-long celebration! Leprechauns and basketball may not sound like a slam dunk, but it’s a winning combination when you catch March Madness games at local hot spots like Fairway Social, Miller’s Ale House, Central City Tavern and more! Starting on March 18, it may be after St. Patty’s Day, but that won’t stop us from keeping the celebrations going. Bonus points if your favorite team’s color is green!

Alpharetta is the pot-o-gold at the end of your rainbow this March! While you’re on a lucky streak, keep the fun rolling by planning a stay at one of Alpharetta’s 30 modern hotels, located conveniently close to all the St. Patrick’s Day fun!
