Main entrees to write home about are his Southern Fried Chicken and Coastal Shrimp & Grits. Do us a favor and save room for the Warm Buttermilk Glazed Carrot Cake for dessert. Oak Steakhouse: Located in Alpharetta’s Avalon community, Oak Steakhouse presents a fresh take on the classic steakhouse in a warm, leather and wood-toned dining room. Chef Travis Kirkley perfectly balances steakhouse indulgence with modern luxury. He dishes out your choice of five “classic steaks” and two cuts from Master Purveyors of New York City. Appetizers include Oysters Rockefeller, Southern Fried Quail and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. And sides like Truffle Frites or Brussels Sprouts and Cauliflower are perfect compliments to any meal.
