On View in the Studio Gallery at the Alpharetta Arts Center, A Journey in Bloom A solo exhibition featuring artist Chané Bolden. A Journey in Bloom is a visual meditation on the sacred unfolding of self. Through a series of mixed media works on canvas, the series combines surreal portraiture, abstract symbolism and organic forms inspired by nature. Each work revealing moments of wrestling, waiting, revelation and renewal. Being a woman means embodying a multitude of roles, emotions, and perspectives. Chané’s work is rooted in the layered essence of womanhood—femininity, beauty, boldness, and the nurturing force of love.
