St. James Alpharetta Hosts Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Service and Walk

  Alpharetta, GA – St. James Alpharetta invites the community to its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Service and Walk on Monday, January 20, 2025. This cherished event brings Alpharetta together to honor the extraordinary life and enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., one of history’s most inspiring civil rights leaders.

The celebration begins with a service at St. James Alpharetta, featuring keynote speaker Rev. Dr. Trunell D. Felder, Senior Pastor of New Faith Baptist in Matteson, IL. The theme for this year is, “Together We Can Make A Change!” Doors open at 9:30 AM, and the service starts promptly at 10:00 AM.

Following the service, join the Unity Walk from St. James to Alpharetta City Center—a powerful demonstration of community solidarity and shared purpose.

Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to support the St. James Food Pantry. Every contribution helps make a difference in the lives of those in need.
