
North Fulton Master Gardeners 24th Annual Garden Faire

The North Fulton Master Gardeners is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging horticultural education and environmental stewardship. Their popular annual Garden Faire features something for everyone, including an incredible selection of plants from North Fulton Master Gardeners, Alpharetta’s Community Agriculture Program, the Georgia Native Plant Society-North Metro Atlanta Chapter, and from local gardening specialty vendors. Master Gardeners will be available on-site for consultations on individual plants, landscaping issues, or design needs. Look for the NFMG nametags, the hats, or the apron identifiers!
What you can expect: a wide variety of plants, speakers and demonstrations, Vendors Market, Children’s Corner, vintage Fleatique, delicious food and drink, Ask-A-Master Gardener table. New this year, a local bluegrass band to entertain while shoppers peruse a wide variety of garden plants, including natives and vegetables. There will also be a special area dedicated to pollinator plants.
Admission is free and the North Fulton Master Gardeners’ proceeds from Garden Faire plant and Fleatique sales will support post-secondary horticultural scholarships, benefit community education efforts (for gardeners of all ages and expertise) and augment the hands-on volunteer efforts at the North Fulton Master Gardeners’ project gardens and its’ teaching/propagation greenhouse operations. Master Gardeners will be on hand during the event to help shoppers choose the plants that are right for their spaces and to help answer the toughest gardening questions.
