This is the concept of dualism, opposite meanings from the same concept that can complement each other. Is the beauty of the rose found in the flower or the thorns? We are all interconnected to each other and give rise and fall through interactions. There is a
natural juxtaposition of these two elements to every side of our thinking; the creative arts often expose to us the dichotomy of emotions within us. Art bridges the spectrum…one man’s triumph is another man’s tragedy and leaves us to ponder what is our interpretation of an artist’s creation. Art causes raw emotions from within to surface, that’s what makes us lean in as we dwell upon an artist’s talent expressed in the piece as we search for understanding and meaning. The power of art is to foster these emotions in us to recognize that a piece of art brings us to a depth of our own understanding and start conversations with others about this.
So, bring us your contradictions, your enigmas, your conundrums, your unsolved puzzles that expose you to our audience that isn’t here to judge you. But conversely are looking for deeper meaning within us that may come to light through your creative works
