When a bright-eyed schoolteacher lands his dream job in a quaint Russian village, he’s in for more than just lesson plans and small-town charm. In Fools, nothing is quite as it seems—and that’s the fun of it.
Leon Tolchinsky is ready to make a difference, but the townspeople he’s meant to teach have been living under a mysterious curse for 200 years—a curse that’s made them, well… not the sharpest. From backwards farming to hilariously misguided logic, the town’s antics are equal parts ridiculous and endearing. It’s now up to Leon to break the curse—but he might just lose his own wits in the process.
