Celebrating Juneteenth

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (R), Phi Phi Omega Chapter is pleased to present a “Juneteenth Celebration” on Friday June 16, 2023, at the Alpharetta Arts Center, 238 Canton Street, Alpharetta GA at 6:00 p.m.
All are welcome to commemorate one of the greatest events that occurred in American history, the liberty of African descendants. A century and a half later, people across the U.S. continue to celebrate this day. Join us as we celebrate the continued freedom and economic prosperity of all people regardless of their race, creed, or national origin.
There will be live entertainment, and our featured speaker is Penny Brown Reynolds, Ph.D., Deputy Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
