Alpharetta Music Match Featuring Jake Daron

Jake Daron, pianist, is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in music performance at Kennesaw State University, studying under Dr. Robert Henry and Julie Coucheron. An Acworth, Georgia native, Daron has performed at several venues across the Southeast, including the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, the Cobb County Civic Center, The University of Alabama, Emory University, and the Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall at the University of Georgia. Last year he attended the Brevard Music Center Summer Festival at Brevard College, where he studied under Jihea Hong-Park and performed at Parker Concert Hall. Daron is also involved with Kennesaw State University’s ensembles and has performed with the Atlanta Wind Symphony and the Georgia Ensemble Theater. He enjoys performing in chamber groups and piano ensembles with his peers in the KSU Bailey School of Music, including premiering several works by composer Brandon Gasaway.
