Alpharetta Music Match Featuring Brooks Smith

Multi-instrumentalist and award-winning composer/singer Brooks Smith was born in Savannah, GA and grew up in Richmond, VA. After earning degrees in Piano Performance and Music Composition in the ’90s, he ended up in Atlanta, where he has played various instruments with groups like The Grapes, The Yeti Trio, Lester’s Farm, Livin’ Large, Yacht Rock Schooner, Beatles tribute Nowhere Men, and a dozen more, while contributing studio tracks for artists like Jayna Jennings, Across the Wide, Christopher Alan Yates, and many others. A scholar of film, film composers, and visual arts, Brooks can often be found at art exhibits or festivals with his son and daughter, looking for the most exotic foods.
