Season of Celebration: Alpharetta Tree Lighting

Kick off the holiday season with a 50-foot tree lighting in Downtown Alpharetta. Bring portable chairs and settle in for live holiday music, enchanting snow flurries, and other magical performances on the main stage in front of Alpharetta City Hall. Have your cameras out for the perfect photo with strolling characters and performers in the crowd. Santa Claus himself will also make a special appearance to hear holiday wishes and spread cheer.
The Lighting of Avalon

Get in the holiday spirit and spread festive cheer as the North Fulton community is illuminated during the annual Lighting of Avalon. Featuring holiday performances and musical entertainment, family-friendly activities, the opening of the ice skating rink, and the magical arrival of Santa, this unforgettable evening has something for everyone!

Free Photos with Santa

Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau, 178 South Main St.
The Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a Free Pictures with Santa event. Families are encouraged to stop by for a complimentary individual or family photo with Santa Claus. A photo will be printed on-site and emailed instantly to each person, so it can be shared with family and friends. Attendees are advised to not wear green clothing as the photographer will be using a “green screen,” and green clothing will interfere with the photo quality.
