More Information

The Polar Bear Plunge is a fun and meaningful Alpharetta tradition that
started in 2018. Every year in February, dozens of plungers have been jumping
into the Wills Park pool and “Freezin’ for a Reason” to support charitable
organizations both near and far. Over the years, they have worked together to
raise almost $500,000, making a huge impact on our community.

WHO CAN PLUNGE this year—anyone with a passion! Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts,
churches, sports teams, nonprofits, school groups, class projects, mission
trips, community groups, international groups, civic organizations, and
clubs—you name it, if it’s important to you, you can start a Polar Bear Plunge
team, and keep at least 85% of the funds you raise.
