Visit SiteThe Alpha Loop is a network of urban, multi-use trails that links four of Alpharetta’s key activity centers – Avalon, Downtown, the North Point Eco District, and Northwinds – but it is also much more than that. The Alpha Loop is about having a sense of place, it’s about connection – connecting you to places, experiences, and to the people that are the heart of Alpharetta.
Whether you enjoy the Alpha Loop’s miles of 12-foot-wide paths on foot, bike, or one wheel; whether you pass through the woods and along its streams alone or with your best friend, on the Alpha Loop you will be connected to a community.
The loop currently has a segment of the trail open, featuring a one mile trail connecting Downtown Alpharetta and Avalon. The trail also features permanent outdoor art sculptures.
