For the Kids
School is out for the week, and for the kids, fun is in! Lucky for them (and for you!), Alpharetta has lots of activities that the whole family can enjoy together.
If your kids are ready to play like the adults, the ropes course, bowling and laser tag at Main Event could make for a perfect day. Dave & Buster’s is also a great option, featuring arcade games, virtual reality, bowling and billiards that can keep both kids and parents entertained for hours. Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios is another Alpharetta must, offering hands-on cooking classes and events for children of all ages. Keep the creativity going at All Fired Up, an art studio whose mission is to create a “relaxed, fun-filled environment” where everyone can explore their inner artist. Where will yours take you?!
For the Adventurer
They say adventure is all around us, and in Alpharetta, we couldn’t agree more. The city is full of indoor and outdoor activities that will keep you on your toes all break long.
When we think adventure, music definitely comes to mind… and Alpharetta is home to several noteworthy music venues. If you’re hoping to see your favorite artist in concert this season, they just might be playing at Alpharetta’s Ameris Bank Amphitheatre! This year’s Spring lineup includes greats like Cody Johnson and Hank Williams, Jr. If an intimate setting is more your style, you’re sure to love The Velvet Note, a dreamy jazz bar featuring world renowned musicians. If all live music is your jam, you won’t want to miss Avalon Nights Live for performances on Avalon’s Plaza every Friday starting April 7th, or Roaring Social, a modern speakeasy that celebrates music through the ages.
Music isn’t the only adventure Alpharetta has to offer! The city offers incredible parks and paths, captivating museums, unique gaming destinations and so much more. Get your Spring art fix on the Alpharetta Arts Walking Tour or at Chic Evolution in Art, an art gallery showcasing emerging artists from across the globe.
When you’re ready to get your game on, Alpharetta’s multiple gaming spots will be the perfect next move. Top Golf is an entertainment complex great for small or large groups, and Fairway Social features innovative sports simulators and a putting nine. Starting April 6th, Fairway Social will have live coverage of the 2023 Masters Tournament streaming throughout the venue all week long.
Whatever your preference, adventure surely awaits you in Awesome Alpharetta!
For the Foodie
Picture this: the weather is flawless, you’re on an outdoor patio and you’re enjoying your favorite dish (and of course, sipping on a cocktail!) Make our vision your reality at an awesome Alpharetta restaurant.
If Downtown is your scene, check out Chiringa, where you can find elevated beach food and drinks, like a Lobster Roll paired with an Island Lemonade or Frozen Margarita. If you’re hoping to complement your outdoor dining experience with some well-deserved shopping, Avalon could be your ideal destination. Head to The Cape for a coastal cocktail and cuisine, or try South City Kitchen for southern cuisine with matching southern hospitality.
It goes without saying that every meal should be topped off with dessert! After a long and chilly winter, you’ve earned yourself some ice cream. Try a unique flavor at Jeni’s Avalon, French Gelato at Le Macaron or a delicious treat at Andy’s Custard. Just don’t forget to save us a bite!
For the Wellness Guru
Spring Break doesn’t have to mean veering from your everyday habits or goals. Alpharetta believes in prioritizing YOU, and the city offers tons of options that will help you maintain your focus.
To enjoy a wellness-centered Spring Break, we know you need to fuel your body with fresh, nutritious ingredients. The Downtown Alpharetta Farmers Market will help you do just that, featuring farm-fresh vegetables, fruits and meats, homemade sauces, delicious herbs and more. The market is held every Saturday starting April 1st… just in time for your Spring week off!
When your body is fueled, you’re ready to get active! Alpharetta has plenty of opportunities to get you moving over break, from a variety of workout classes to running paths. If a fast-paced, HIIT workout is your thing, try a Total Body class at Shred415 or Boot Camp at Burn Boot Camp. If sculpting is more up your alley, a class at BODYBAR Pilates or Oya Yoga Studio could be just what you’re looking for. The city is also full of outdoor areas to get your walk, run, bike or skate on, like the Big Creek Greenway or the Alpha Loop. If you’re ready to put your fitness to the test, the 9th annual Heart and Sole 5K will be held at Avalon on April 22nd. We’ll be there to cheer you on!
And of course, when you really just need a reset, Alpharetta’s numerous spas and wellness centers will be ready to welcome you with a warm robe and a smile. Check out Natural Body Spa or Solera Salon & Spa for a day of pampering and relaxation. You deserve it!
