Epicureans everywhere are excited for the 30th Annual Taste of Alpharetta! The foodie festival returns in a BIG way this year with selections from Alpharetta’s best restaurants, showing off their creative menu offerings, ranging from delightful umami to deliciously unexpected with every savory and sweet flavor in between.
Taste of Alpharetta is Thursday, May 12th, from 5pm to 10pm, meaning five full hours to take your palate on an unparalleled adventure featuring items like South Main Kitchen’s gumbo, guaranteed to get your tastebuds talking. Coalition’s mouthwatering brisket and cheddar meatballs and PONKO Chicken’s award-winning Japanese-American chicken tenders. Other foodie faves include pillowy masa tacos and hand-dipped cake donuts, plus tons of other treats you never knew you always needed in your life (and in your stomach!). The festival footprint spans the entirety of downtown Alpharetta, with this year’s culinary magic sprinkled on both sides of Main Street. The expansion means more epic eats than ever before—so be sure to come hungry!
Festivalgoers will be treated to special dining events, cooking demos, culinary collabs sure to dazzle, and live music! The whole event serves as a celebration of our favorite way to gather with our favorite folks over our favorite foods!
Alpharetta’s most innovative and talented local chefs are not only stoked to show off their cooking skills, they’re also proud to be part of an event that elevates the local food scene to tasty new heights. “We’re excited for this year’s Taste of Alpharetta so we can catch up on lost time!” says Owner and Operator of Coalition Food and Beverage Ryan Pernice. “Taste is always one of our favorite events, and I’m sure we’re all eager to get outside, eat great food, and celebrate our community together!”
PONKO Chicken Alpharetta owner Sue Herrmann echoes the stomach-rumbling excitement, saying, “We are looking forward to Taste of Alpharetta for the opportunity to share our unique product with the Alpharetta community. We’ll see you there!”
Admission to this foodie event FREE. In order to sample the area’s best bites, attendees can purchase food tickets online and on-site for $0.50 each. Food samples will range from $1 to $4 per sample. Participating restaurants will only accept tickets as payment, so be sure to stock up so you don’t miss a single bite!
