7 Booths SO Worth Standing In Line For At This Year’s Taste of Alpharetta

In Events & Entertainment, Food + Drink

Foodies—prepare your stomachs! Taste of Alpharetta is back and better than ever on May 2nd. Now in its 29th year, this Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event for 2019 promises a feast for every palate from picky-as-all-get-out to I’ll-try-anything-once. With over 60 area restaurants participating this year, you may find yourself at a loss as to where to begin when it comes to the longest running food festival in the South.

Instead of trying to let your growling stomach be your guide, take it from us! Here are 8 can’t-miss booths to hit up at the 2019 Taste of Alpharetta:

1. Colletta

This date-night fave brings plenty of amore to Taste. With its elevated Italian classics and excellent service, Colletta is the ultimate option for upscale carb-loading.

2. Ceviche

Tacos are the ultimate in portable deliciousness, and Ceviche does ‘em so right. A longtime favorite when it comes to Mexican-inspired dishes, the fresh, zesty flavors courtesy of Ceviche are absolutely worth waiting in line for.

3. Restaurant Holmes

Making their first-ever appearance at Taste of Alpharetta, the team at Restaurant Holmes looks forward to bringing their brand of locally fresh, small-plate savory goodness to 2019 Taste-goers. Whether it’s their expert usage of fresh herbs or their deep-seated emphasis on community, these newbies have something to prove and we can’t wait to see what they have in store.

4. Ray’s at Killer Creek

Surf and turf is the name of the game for Ray’s at Killer Creek. Coastal-inspired fare with comfy, casual vibes are sure to translate beautifully to their booth at Taste of Alpharetta. Sink your teeth into whatever decadence they’re delivering this year—it’s sure to be killer.

5. Secreto

Voted Best Fine Dining at last year’s event, Secreto is back and still oh-so-fine at this year’s foodfest. Farm-to-table forward and as ripe with Southern-influence as a tomato in summer, Secreto’s claim to fame is Chef Boyd’s Southern Fried Chicken. While we’re not revealing their signature dish for this year’s event, believe us when we implore you to run—don’t walk—to Secreto’s setup on May 2nd.

6. M Thai Street Food

Winner of last year’s coveted Peoples Choice Award and Best Fast Casual Booth, M. Thai Street Food puts the “mmmmm” in umami! Whether its their perfect pad thai, comeback-for-more curry, or delectable shrimp and chicken dumplings, your taste buds take a trip to somewhere magical with every dish available at M. Thai. We’re especially stoked to see (ahem, dig into) what kind of palate passport they bring to this year’s Taste of Alpharetta!

7. Scream’n Nuts

Once you’ve had some savory eats, it’s time for dessert! Sugar fiends and those in search of the sooo-worth-it indulgence are sure to go wild for Scream’n Nuts donuts and ice cream. Their donuts come in oh so many delish flavors like Cookie Monster and Black Raspberry Breeze. Bonus points to this booth if it’s especially warm out—after all, what could be more refreshing on a toasty spring afternoon than a craft ice cream cone?
