Swami was (in 1995) and still is a graphic designer for the Dead with over 100 T-Shirt and stage pass designs. Swami always said that the Grateful Dead were the best cover group of all time. When Jerry died Swami formed Swami Gone Bananas to ‘cover’ the Atlanta area
