Join Gina Minyard for this 3 week Series (may attend one or all classes).
Many people think yoga is about stretching, but all stretching must be met with just as much strength. Especially if your body is already flexible, building stability is important for a safe and sustainable practice. If your body is tighter, you can learn to use strength to increase your mobility effectively. More than just physical exercise, this kind of inspired and empowered work unlocks the possibility of the poses – harnessing our minds, grounding and centering our being, and deepening our connection to our Infinitely Stable Source!
Discover the yoga of alignment and strength with Gina Minyard, decades-long practitioner and devotee to our full embodiment through yoga. We’ll explore the foundations of strength-building alignment, balanced actions, and build towards progressively advancing posture practice. Each session will include breath and core work, standing poses, and specialized work on a class of poses. All levels welcome, and teachers earn CEUs.
Saturdays 2-4pm, $45/session, $120/full series

Saturday, June 18th – Hip Openers and Arm Balances
