The Studio Gallery of the Alpharetta Arts Center showcases RidersGiveBack: an exploration of the juxtaposition between the graceful, preppy world of equestrians and Atlanta’s counterculture. RGB serves as a fundraising vehicle for various children’s charities through the sale of street-wear, events, and the arts. August 8 – September 23.
Born and raised in Alpharetta and the son of folk artist Nancy Haselden, artist Will Haselden is a DJ and mixed media artist that has been heavily influenced by street art through his travels around the world. The RGB prints in this exhibit were developed through the creation of textures via photography, spray paint and acrylic, then digitized and composed into each finished work. Each piece was inspired by a place in Atlanta and served as the inspiration for each of the four campaigns in partnership with four different children’s charities. Eight prints were created on 24×24 HD aluminum and used in competition on our jump.
