McConnell-Chadwick House Presentation

The McConnell-Chadwick House has recently been placed on the “Places in Peril” Register by the Georgia Historic Trust. This milestone is the outcome of the diligent efforts of several members of the Milton Historical Society since the inception in 2018. You will learn the history of the families who were early settlers, the impact on native Americans and the importance of the architecture of this unique house. We will also give an update and presentation on the proposed Mayfield District, which is the core area of Milton’s history. Some of our most important structures in the city are located in this area.
