Michael Dillon has more than twenty years experience in producing nationally recognized functional and non-representational metal sculptures. He creates sculpture, furniture, and railings primarily forged from iron. He also works in bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, and carved stone. His exhibit at the Alpharetta Arts Center will include several of his sculptures, examples of his intricate railings, maquettes from previous works featuring hands-on interactivity, and images that tell the story of his production process. Dillon’s work can presently be seen on the Alpharetta Walking Tour of Public Art. His forge is in Milton, Georgia. To see some of his sculptures, visit
