CureNFwithJack Cocktail Party & Golf Tournament

A little bit about our event. This year is the 9th Annual CureNFwithJack Fundraiser and Golf Classic and it’s promising to be the best year yet! Our weekend kicks off on Sunday, November 6 with a roaring 20s themed cocktail party and fund-a-need auction at Roaring Social in Downtown Alpharetta. Then we head over to White Columns Golf and Country Club on Monday, November 7 for a great day of tumor-killing golf.

A little bit about our organization. CureNFwithJack was founded by Jack Burke and his parents when Jack was diagnosed with this not-so-rare genetic disorder. Our mission is to fund medical research to help find a cure or effective treatment for NF – or neurofibromatosis. NF occurs in 1 of 3000 births and causes tumors to grow on any nerve ending in the body. NF can lead to severe medical complications like blindness, deafness, cancer and many other ailments.

A little bit about our impact. Because of the generosity of people like you, our first financial disbursement in 2018 helped fund the clinical trial that led to the development of Koselugo, the first EVER FDA-approved drug to reduce some NF1 plexiform tumors in children. For his dedication to ending NF, Jack Burke was named the 2020 Humanitarian of the Year by the Children’s Tumor Foundation and works tirelessly as a motivational speaker to advocate and educate the public about NF.
