Meet Brett Ryder, the 18-year-old sensation reshaping funk-pop music. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Brett is a prodigious singer, songwriter, and guitar virtuoso whose melodies draw inspiration from the likes of Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Mac Miller, Harry Styles, Bruno Mars, and Anderson Paak. Although these great musicians all might be from different genres, they all have influence to his sound.

Performing since he was 9 years old, Brett’s genre-blurring style blends infectious pop euphoria with soulful funk grooves and a rocker edge; his songs don’t fit neatly into a specific “genre” and he likes it that way.   Beyond his young age, Brett’s performances are charged with a captivating energy, his guitar and bass skills definitely stand out among the many instruments that he plays. He plays live weekly and at many festivals and events throughout Georgia and the Southeast.

Not only is Brett a talented musician and artist, but he is also the Valedictorian of his senior class, a Spokesperson and Ambassador for Be The Voice, and a volunteer for many local charities and non-profit organizations.
