| Who We Are, Our Mission Statement The Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau is a nonprofit destination marketing organization whose mission is to position Alpharetta as a regionally, nationally, and globally recognized premiere tourism destination by developing quality programs and facilities to attract overnight visitors. Our goal is to make tourism a significant and ongoing contribution to the economic well-being of our city. Our Purpose and Services The ACVB essentially serves as a visitor’s one-stop shopping center for ideas and information. Our goals as an organization are to prospect, nurture, encourage, and invite associations and corporations to hold meetings and conventions in Alpharetta. Within those goals we have specific services that include: 1. | assisting associations and corporations with the coordinating of their conventions, seminars and weddingswhile in Alpharetta, including accommodations, transportation, registration or other mutually agreed upon services; | | 2. | working with the component elements of the visitor industry, coordinating their resources in support of bidding for conventions, seminars and weddings; | | 3. | providing an array of services to tour planners in developing tours into Alpharetta, including suggested itineraries and overnight accommodations; | | 4. | providing leadership for the visitor industry, coordinating activities, encouraging marketing activities and projecting an appealing image on behalf of the city of Alpharetta. | | | |
