Not only does Alpharetta have an incredibly fantastic dining scene (think farm to table dining, seafood, steaks, Italian and more), but these restaurants also offer some top shelf cocktails to compliment their dining choices.
This Avalon located restaurant’s name is a bit misleading, but only because the food is way more impressive than the “shack” name suggests. Plus, you’ll want to take advantage of the rooftop patio whenever possible, and their beachy drinks are just icing on the cake. For a custom cocktail, get the Pass the Tonic with your choice of gin, rum, or white port. Food recommendation? The Lobster roll, of course!
Though the food menu is small at this spot, you’ll enjoy ending your meal on a sweet and boozy note with the custom made adult milkshakes. I recommend getting the chocolate and peanut butter and adding bourbon to it. Oh, and the cherry cola wings are a must here!
With the word “cocktails” in their name, you know the cocktails alone are worthy of a visit. Though Made’s interior is lovely with lots of salvaged wood and metal, the patio is gorgeous too. They’ve got custom made sangria (white and red) and a lovely limoncello made in house. Get the artichokes and the pork cheeks.
This is one of my favorite steaks in the city, but can I let you in on a secret? I love their custom cocktails too. This is my favorite thing to do – order the mocktail and add a splash of vodka. Tip: On Mondays sit and the bar and get a burger + bourbon for just $12.
Sure this gastropub has an extensive bourbon and whiskey list, but don’t overlook their fantastic cocktails that can be customized to your preference. My food recommendations:? Mussels, ravioli, shepherd’s pie and the London broil. Ask for a champagne cocktail to pair with the exquisite bread pudding.
This southern restaurant serves up some fancy food options. But the cocktails are quite impressive too. They’ve got terrific options of custom crafted cocktails like the Repossessed, made with whiskey, ginger beer and bitters. Not sure what you want to drink? Give the bartenders an idea of your preferences and they’ll whip up something special for you. Plus, the expansive bar is a wonderful spot to enjoy your meal if dining solo. My food recommendations? Lamb belly, fried chicken and carrot cake.
Sister restaurant to Butcher & Brew, this upscale spot in the heart of Downtown Alpharetta is the place to go for date night and enjoy the lovely patio views. Inside features beautiful hardwoods. Go for brunch and customize your Bloody Mary. My food recommendations: Short rib crepes, any of the desserts.
Pizzas, burgers, steaks or pastas – this is the perfect spot for a business meeting or for a group outing with picky eaters. But it doesn’t end there. You can customize drinks too. Get Village Tavern’s signature martini with premium vodka or gin. Or customize your margarita or Moscow Mule with your choice of spirits. My go to cocktail is the Manhattan.
